This Picture is of kierans windows 7 laptop where most of the editing of our trailer took place as well as the designing of our poster and magazine front cover. I completed my research and planning activities on the schools computers which are also windows 7.
The picture above is of the camera we used to film all of the footage for our trailer. The camera is able to film in HD allowing our footage to be crisp and clear.
This is the camera we used to take all of our still photos for the film poster, the magazine front cover, costume photos and location photos. The camera is a Sony A300 DSLR.
This is the tripod we used when filming our trailer to keep a steady shot and to create some unique shots we used in our final trailer.
This is the scanner we used to scan the storyboard of our trailer and upload it to the computer. We used a scanner because the images that would be uploaded will be a lot clearer and crisp allowing our animatic to have a professional look to it.
Blogger has been used majorly throughout both my foundation and advanced portfolio. I have used blogger to present all of my final work as well as the work i have completed on the way. The content on my blogger is all of my research and planning which includes images and embed youtube videos with text describing what is shown.
Youtube has been one of the most important pieces of software i have used, this is because i have used it to complete most of my research and planning tasks which includes analysing trailers and shots from films. Youtube is also where we showcased our final trailer, this also allowed us to present our trailer on blogger as an embedded video.
Our group used Adobe premiere elements 8.0 to do all the editing involved with our trailer. Adobe elements allows you to use certain effects such as adding text, speeding up clips or slowing them down as well as transitions.
